Update News
Hey everyone!

The new server engine has been running for a while now and all the old code has been removed. Everyone is now running on the new version.

I have been doing a bunch of tweaks over the last few weeks, as you probably noticed from the server patches.
Fighters have had a rework of their movement and targeting and repair ships have had their movement adjusted to stay closer to damaged ships.

Subsystems are mostly ready, I am going to launch with Utility subsystems first as they have no ability. This is to get an idea of balancing and tweak the drop rate/crafting costs/bonuses before I release the ability based subsystems. Once I have enough feedback I will launch the other subsystems in stages, e.g. first Target Relay and Bastion, then the others. I don't want to launch everything at once as it will be a huge issue if the balance isn't right and it's not fair if I start changing stats just after launch.
Fighter bays are going to be staying for a while, as I mentioned I don't want to drop in a replacement for them if it's going to get balancing changes right away. I would rather wait a bit and make sure whatever they are exchanged with is worth it.

Due to the limited storage for subsystems I am also adding in a scrapyard where you can get rid of any old weapons, fittings, cells, riggings or subsystems you no longer want cluttering up your inventory. This was going to be a later addition but I think it's needed right now so I took some time to add it in.

War stats are making their way in as well, wars will now show number of battles and ships destroyed as well as an overall score. This is not the end of war stats, they will be improved in the corp update but I thought this was a nice addition to add to this update.
War stats will also display on the corporation profile, along with alliances.

There are a bunch of other fixes in the next version as well as tweaks to some design.
